Biostok is proud to introduce its new square tissue culture tub. The tub has been designed by incorporating features which will make it more functional for commercial tissue culturists. We have made these tubs squared since square tubs conserve space to a higher extent compared to the traditional round tubs, when stacked next to each other in a growth room. The additional space saved can be used to store more plants in the storage room allowing optimum use of space which we believe is a crucial factor for a commercial operation. We have also marked two crossing lines at the bottom of the tub that divides the bottom into four equal visible parts in order to facilitate easy counting of the number of plants inside. We have provided ventilation on top of the lid for gas dispersion during incubation and transportation if required. They will be gamma-irradiated before hand to eliminate autoclaving which will save time, labor and electric bills. In short, we have tried our best to make these tubs more beneficial, keeping cost in mind.
In the drawing, round circles denote round tubs commonly used by tissue culturists and the squares outside the circles help indicate space wastage which will be avoided to a large extent if square tubs are used instead.
Arrows denote space wastage when round tubs are stacked next to each other. This wastage is avoided to a large extent with square tubs.
If a large room is used to store square tubs, the space saved can be unbelievably large!!

Larger space conservation translates to more plants in the same area.
